mayra yadir holds:

• an mfa in illustration from the academy of art university, with graduate training focused on editorial, advertising, and children’s storybook illustration
• an ma in applied media psychology with fielding graduate university, a graduate program centered on understanding audience engagement and the psychological effects of visual culture, technology/digital media, and story-driven communication

in between projects and coaching clients, mayra yadir is also an adjunct professor at Shenandoah University’s College of Arts & Sciences, where she teaches storytelling communications and public speaking to undergraduate students
